dated April 24, 1967
“Dear Mr. Burke:
In 1945 we purchased in New York at the sale of the Frank J. Hogan Library, item No. 7, a copy of EMMA, printed in Philadelphia by Carey in 1816.
Do you still have this book and would you be willing to part with it?”
